Knot Top

I have always loved this snowman fabric. I actually bought it last year and made EmK some pants. It was around the time I really started sewing a lot for my daughter and I ended up with cute pants that were TOO short:( So when I happened to spot this again, I had to pick it up. Too bad she can't wear snowmen until December....

If the pants look familiar that's because they are. I'm learning to stretch EmK's clothing by pairing several tops/shirts with each pair of pants I make.

...and here's our last pair of gingham pants paired with a coordinating top. I'm sure these brown pants will be so cute with a turkey applique:) and maybe down the road I'll find some pink fabric to go with them as well. The coloring on my photo seems a bit off...in person the browns are the same color.

Addison Top

Thought I would post a few pictures of two tops I just finished. The "Addison Top" has two button holes on the back yoke. The straps go over the shoulder and tie in a bow on the back.

I've been looking at this elephant fabric for a while and when I saw two-sided polka dot ribbon while fabric shopping a couple of weeks ago, I knew I had use it in my next sewing project. Then I remembered the elephant fabric, ordered it online, and crossed my fingers that the colors would be the same...and as luck would have it they matched perfectly:) This fabric also comes in a blue/green combo and in giraffes.

GAMEDAY

Here are a few things I just finished for kids to wear during football season!

The first two are for the same little girl. Her mom is an Auburn fan (war eagle) and her dad is an Alabama fan. I can relate to this family A LOT:) I have to admit that I love BOTH outfits...and my husband really LOVES the second one!! I made white bloomers for A to wear with both tops.

The elephant appliques were done by Stacey.

Caroline Top - 6 months

Lily Top - 6 months

Boy Pants - 18months

Applique Bibs

Someone brought me these bibs to applique. I think they turned out SO cute!

Claire Dress

I LOVE this houndstooth print! Even though I'm not an Alabama fan, I think this is one of the cutest dresses I've seen for football season. You could even add ribbon where the buttons are.

Ever little girls needs a special dress to celebrate their first birthday. Stacey's Stitches did both appliques on these dresses. She is also making a birthday bib to match this dress.

I love this blue/yellow plaid a mom recently gave me to make matching outfits for her two boys. Sorry my pictures aren't better...I was in a hurry to finish before nap-time ended!!
