Oversized BIBS

EmK got an oversized bib from her Aunt Janna on her first birthday. I use it ALL the time. It's always in her diaper bag unless it's in the washer. I've been making lots of baby gifts this week and it inspired me to try these for EmK. It takes quite a bit of fabric....I guess I didn't realize until I started cutting...but I think they turned out great. I'm not sure that they seem that big from the picture...but they are HUGE:)

A few observations...you can't even imagine how much terry cloth frays when you cut it...maybe next time I should wash before I cut. Second, it probably wasn't the best idea to use a light gray pique fabric as it will likely be stained quickly...but it's just SO cute! Lastly, you shouldn't try putting on snaps when you are in need of sleep because once you put them on (backwards) you can't get them off:)

LOVE this fabric

...and a little sad to see if leave my house, but it's going to a super cute baby:)

I've been out of town for a week and trying to catch up on my sewing orders. I think these outfits are SO precious.....I'm quite sure you'll be seeing more of this fabric soon!!

Gifts for my Twin Nephews

I LOVE being crafty. My sister and I are throwing my brother and his wife a baby shower for their twin boys. I thought you might like to see a few pictures of what my sister and I have been up to this week. The baby bedding is blue, brown, cream, and orange.

I have to give credit for the mobiles to my sweet friend Ashley who helped me make one for my sister's little boy almost 4 years ago:)

The pictures are inspired by "petit collage". My mom saw them on the Martha Stewart show one day. While I'm sure the ones on the website don't have any bubbles in the paper (like mine)....they are WAY more expensive ($140 each) than my creations:) I love crafty projects!!!!

We made 2 mobiles.....
